What shapes can you cut?

We cut over 30 shapes including discs, rings, rectangles, squares, capsules, ovals, hexagons, D-shapes, and custom polygons. Upload a DXF file for fully custom shapes.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No minimum. We cut single pieces as readily as bulk orders. Price per piece decreases automatically with quantity.

How long does production take?

Most custom fabricated parts are cut and shipped in about 1 week.

What is the maximum size you can cut?

The maximum size depends on the material you choose. Most rubber, silicone, neoprene, EPDM, cork, fiber, and glass sheets go up to 32.5 x 32.5 inches, and acrylic sheets up to 23.5 x 23.5 inches. The configurator tells you if your part is too large for the selected material. Contact us for larger parts.

Do I need to send a file?

No file needed for standard shapes. The configurator generates the cut geometry from your dimensions. For fully custom shapes, you can upload a DXF file.

Polycarbonate against acrylic

Impact strength — many times that of acrylic; it deforms rather than shattering.
Flexibility — cold-bends to a radius where acrylic would crack.
Scratch resistance — worse than acrylic; it marks more easily in handling.
Edge finish — good, though acrylic gives the cleaner optical edge.
Temperature — tolerates more heat before softening.

What we cut it for

Machine guards and safety shields, impact-resistant glazing, protective covers over controls and displays, sports and riot shielding, and equipment housings that take knocks — anywhere a shattered acrylic panel would be a hazard.

How to measure

Measure the finished cut size you need, not the rough stock.
Discs: diameter across the widest point. Rectangles: length × width. Rings: outside diameter (OD) and inside diameter (ID). Other shapes: follow the fields on that product.
A tape measure is fine for most parts. Calipers help on small pieces.
Pick material and thickness in the quoter.
